Favorite Lake Tahoe fact?
This one's a little morbid... Lake Tahoe's incredibly cold water can prevent bodies from resurfacing after a drowning. All the more reason to paddle safely and with a guide (preferably me)!
Single kayak, tandem kayak, or paddleboard?
We call tandem kayaks the "divorce boats" for a reason... If I'm exploring Tahoe, I'll always choose a single kayak. For a relaxing day on the water, though, nothing beats a paddleboard.
If you could add one ridiculous feature to a kayak, what would it be?
Every kayak would come bedazzled with rainbow lights. Safety and style.
What’s your favorite thing about sharing Lake Tahoe with guests?
Sunset tours and the incredible alpenglow. Watching the mountain peaks light up with shades of pink and orange never gets old.
