Favorite outdoor adventure you’ve ever had?
Summiting Tahoe Basin's tallest mountain, Freele, during a big snowstorm. It felt like being on the moon.
Favorite Lake Tahoe fact?
To put into perspective how big Tahoe is, at its widest points, the water surface visibly curves with the planet. This means when standing at lake level and looking across the lake, portions of beaches and buildings drop below the horizon due to the curvature of the earth.
What’s your most used phrase on tour?
I love teaching guests the little trick of using your digits to count how much time is left before the sun sets over a ridge.
What’s your secret talent that has nothing to do with kayaking?
Anything baking. I have my chocolate chip cookie recipe down to perfection.
